Why Making A Difference In Stuart Has Never Been Easier

The holiday season is a wonderful opportunity to focus on our community’s charitable organizations, and this month, we celebrate Molly’s House and its 20th anniversary. Since opening its doors, Molly’s House has built a tradition of helping families in need, and it’s only continuing to grow. From the first day I walked into this organization’s building, I couldn’t help but wonder why anyone would want to stay anywhere else. I hope you’ll read about the amazing things they are doing with the organization’s story.

With the remarkable, award-winning hospitals in our area, we wanted to take you on a fast-paced, dynamic review of what’s new and exciting at Martin Memorial, St. Lucie and Lawnwood (HCA) hospitals and Indian River Medical Center. These institutions have had an exhilarating year, developing into more advanced health care facilities. As this is our Medical Issue, we look to the future with bigger, better articles that discuss modern advances and a newly designed physician section taking you to the front lines and monitoring the pulse in our area.

This fall also brings wonderful philanthropic events to the city, and we have handpicked some of them for you in our “All Access” section in the back of the magazine. I have received numerous calls and comments on how easy it has been to find all of the local happenings using the back of our book. We will only continue to build this section by adding more content. If your Martin or St. Lucie counties event is missing, please let us know, and we will be sure to include it.

You can have it all by reading our digital editions on the website, which is a great way to catch up on previous issues and look for future content. With every issue we publish, our readership increase digitally. It amazes me how when we write about a community member in a certain company, the article is passed around an organization, and sometimes, even hundreds of people from that organization sign up for the magazine. Visit stuartmagazine.com, and find our digital version today. We also send a friendly reminder once it is uploaded and provide a link to review it. I hope you will continue to share this issue and future issues with your colleagues, family and friends. It’s easy and fun to do, especially if you find yourself in our pages.

With fall’s arrival, let us embrace the pleasant weather and sunshine by wearing our favorite sandals and lightweight dresses. All you need now is a shawl. Take advantage of all our area has to offer. Make your way to the beach, visit a farm stand, treat yourself to a variety of delicious fine dining or attend a great concert—it’s all here.

From our Stuart Magazine family to yours, have a blessed Thanksgiving and enjoy reading our issue.
