Empty Bowls

Help fight hunger during the Treasure Coast Food Bank’s 12th annual Empty Bowls event taking place March 16 at Fort Pierce Farmers’ Market. St. Lucie County School students are creating more than 500 ceramic bowls, which guests can purchase to fill with fresh, hot soup prepared by Fort Pierce Central High School culinary students and Treasure Coast Food Bank’s Healthy Harvest Catering. St. Paddy’s Block Party

The annual St. Patrick’s Day block party on Fort Pierce’s Second Street will take place March 16. Hosted by Sailfish Brewing Co. and 2nd Street Bistro, the event offers beer and drinks, a vendor village and a musical lineup featuring The String Assassins, the Humdingers and Rivertown. Shamrock Festival

Stuart Main Street and the Downtown Business Association of Stuart will host ShamRock Fest March 16 at the Riverwalk Stage and City Hall Annex Parking Lots. Listen to sounds by The Kindred Kilts, watch performances by bagpipers and step dancers, and enjoy authentic Irish food accompanied by an Irish whiskey bar. Distinguished Speaker’s Luncheon

The Distinguished Speaker’s Luncheon will feature Toby Cosgrove, M.D., an American Vietnam War veteran, former heart surgeon and former CEO and president of Cleveland Clinic, as the distinguished speaker. Manatee Center 5K

Taking place on March 16, the Lucky 11th annual Manatee Center 5K Run/Walk will raise profits to support the Treasure Coast Manatee Foundation.
