Served alongside a 1964 Airstream Avion, coffee has never looked better. The brainchild of Port Salerno resident Cristian King, 29, Caravan Coffee is a mobile coffee shop that parks itself near District Table & Bar to serve locals on the go. The simple menu includes all the classic café beverages—lattes, cappuccinos, cortados, iced drinks, and drip coffee—with beans sourced locally from Pumphouse Coffee, as well as chai and matcha. King also offers a few baked goods, including his homemade blueberry bread.
Customers can grab a beverage to go or enjoy it on-site—the mobile business sits in a small garden-like atmosphere with tables, chairs, shade umbrellas, a variety of tall plants, and water bowls for dogs. “I was thinking about my next step, and I realized this was a feasible option rather than building out a full-size café,” says King of his decision to leave the bar industry and venture into the coffee biz. He purchased a renovated Airstream from Virginia and opened up shop in Port Salerno this past May.
Caravan Coffee is open Wednesday to Friday 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and weekends 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. 4629 SE Dixie Hwy., Stuart; @mycaravancoffee (Insta); 772.530.9900
