Michael Slobasky is putting local dog parks to shame with the opening of his Baxter’s Doghouse in Stuart. The new canine social club is the bark of the town with a dog park and splash pad, dog-centered events, and doggie day care. Humans who tag along with their furry friends can enjoy cocktails at the bar, food fare from rotating food trucks, live music, or a match up on the pickleball court. “After you have a hard day’s work and your dog is stuck at home all day, you can both have fun,” says Slobasky. “You don’t even have to have a dog to come. Everybody loves it.”
