In My Online Shopping Cart: Matching top and skirt sets and raffia ballet flats

Dream Collab: It’s a tie between J. Crew and Tuckernuck. J.Crew has been a favorite of mine since I was little, and I just love Tuckernuck’s lifestyle brand/shoots.

Beauty Must-Have: I’ve worn and loved Crunchi makeup for years, especially their primer, foundation, and bronzer.

Local Gem: White Trail! It’s a flower farm in Jupiter that sells beautiful David Austin roses and offers special farm experiences, a café, gift boutique, and more.

Style Icons: Princess Diana, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, and Marilyn Monroe

Personal Style: My personal style is a fusion of global influences. I love blending diverse elements into looks that not only look great but also feel authentic. What truly matters in personal style is dressing in a way that enhances your appearance and helps you feel comfortable and at your best.

Go-to Outfit: It depends on the occasion and my mood that day. Ultimately, it’s about finding the perfectly fitted piece that accentuates my silhouette, whether it’s a dress, skirt, blouse, or pair of pants suitable for anything from a casual day out to an evening event. I believe women want to look and feel confident in their clothing, and a garment that fits just right is crucial for that. When I design, I focus not only on style but also on cut and fit,
ensuring each piece enhances a woman’s confidence and beauty.

Memorable Career Moment: Dedicating my first collection to my grandmother Neri Bruguera, who has been both my mentor and teacher. Having her presence at my debut fashion show meant the world to me, as it allowed me to honor her legacy and extend her influence as a woman and a designer.

Greatest Inspiration: I find inspiration in many things, such as music, art, flowers, colors, smell, food, animals, nature, places, and cultures. However, my greatest inspiration comes from my daughters. Everything I do is a reflection of the love I have for them. Motherhood has brought out the best in me, and I feel incredibly blessed to have twin girls who inspire me to be a better person every day.

Signature Piece from My Collection: The bows. I’ve always had a deep affection for them because they embody both femininity and innocence. When a woman wears a bow, she radiates elegance with a delicate yet distinctly feminine charm.

Beauty Must-Haves: A homemade rice water mist for a refreshing and hydrating boost and natural aloe vera as a moisturizer. Both have natural healing properties, making them vital for keeping skin healthy and nourished. I also can’t go without my lipstick. I love bold shades of colors, red being one of my favorites.

Local Gem: Blowing Rocks Preserve. It has stunning limestone rock formations along the beach that create spectacular water blowholes and also serves as a nesting spot for sea turtles. It is definitely a must-visit.

Ultimate Day Off: My ultimate day off is wonderfully simple: it’s about doing nothing and enjoying a day at home in my pajamas. As a mother, wife, sister, and daughter, my family means everything to me. I’m always very active, so a day of complete relaxation and disconnecting from the outside world is the perfect way for me to recharge.

Words of Wisdom: Stay curious and never stop learning. If you’re listening, you’re learning. This mindset helps me stay open to new ideas and continually grow. Also, be honest and true to yourself.

Founder & Designer, Jade Swim

Style Icon: Bianca Jagger

Personal Style: Minimal, but since I’ve been living in South Florida I have been incorporating more color and have even started wearing prints.

Memorable Career Moment: When I started at Vogue a few months after graduating from college, interviewing with Anna [Wintour] and working with that era of editors was the best experience and created the foundation of my career in the industry.

Go-to Outfit: Button-up shirt, jeans, and
Hermès slides

Favorite Designer: Loewe

Coveted Item for Fall: Anything Hermès. I love sticking to the classic must-have lists and building my collection.

Greatest Inspiration: My two girls. I want to raise them to be leaders who can create their own legacy, and also teach them that anything is possible and
to be fearless.

Beauty Must-Have: I’ve recently gotten really
into Korean beauty, and I love any product by Anua—specifically their cleansers that
have gone viral.

Local Gem: I find inspiration from vintage items and love to browse the shops behind Blackbird and Ara in Jupiter. I’ve even found some great ’70s beach chairs for [photo] shoots here.

Ultimate Day Off: Totally unplugged while relaxing at a hotel spa. I’ve been looking forward to trying the Amrit Resort’s spa and doing a staycation there.

Business Advice: Celebrate every win and let the moment sink in before you run off to the next task or project.

Style Icon: Kate Middleton

Personal Style: Classic, elegant, and feminine

Memorable Career Moment: The opportunity to be in the Vineyard Vines catalog was certainly a highlight!

Style Hack: A hat, sweater, around the shoulders, or statement earring can take a very basic outfit to looking effortlessly put together.

Go-to Outfit: Since it’s so warm here, I’m usually in some form of cotton sundress, woven sandals, and a pair of sunglasses. I’ve enjoyed finding practical ways to dress up during this season of my life spent largely with my children.

Style Evolution: I’ve been slowly adding more silver items to my wardrobe after leaning into gold for the last decade.

Favorite Designers: Staud, Veronica Beard, Fanm Mon, La DoubleJ

Dream Collab: Tuckernuck

Beauty Must-Have: Obagi Vitamin C Serum! It keeps my skin glowing.

Local Gem: Pumphouse Coffee, tucked next to Blueline Surf & Paddle in Jupiter, has the best coffee in Palm Beach County.

Words of Wisdom: Think of others before yourself.

Founder & Owner, Matilda’s

Style Icons: Aerin Lauder, Blair Eadie, Oscar de la Renta, Amanda Lindroth

Personal Style: Barefoot elegance. I love the romance of effortless style with a hint of sophistication. It’s about getting dressed up but kicking your shoes off to feel the sand between your toes.

Home Decor Mantra: Design for the way you live and style with the things you love.

Favorite Designer: That’s hard to say, but one brand I sell in my shop that has stood the test of time is Oliphant. It has style, a pop of color or pattern, and you can literally wear their dresses to lunch, to the beach, or to Paris!

Go-to Outfit: The Anywhere Dress by Matilda’s, Carrie Forbes sandals, a Frank & Eileen blazer over the shoulders, a Sunshine Tienda hat—and a structured tote to carry my laptop, design notebooks, and endless fabric samples.

Memorable Career Moments: Recreating my own spin on a classic maxi dress and selling it in my shop, and landing the cover of Coastal Living—not once but twice!

Coveted Items for Fall: For fashion, any piece by Frank & Eileen. At home, I like using darker floral greens, pops of orange flowers, and rich tan and chocolate decor bits during the fall.

Business Advice: My late uncle, who was a SCORE mentor, told me: “Whatever you do, don’t open a shop for your friends and family. They will want or expect a discount. You can’t make money if all you do is discount to everyone you know. Open the shop for all the people you don’t know.”

Style Hack: Adding texture—to your outfit and your home. A belt or a hat can definitely add a level of layering to any look, and I love throwing a blazer over my shoulders. It looks effortlessly chic. Just like layering an outfit, I love to layer textures and patterns of fabrics, wallpapers, furnishings, and decor in the home. Without the texture element, things can go flat. One of the main reasons clients hire me is for my usage of color and texture.

Beauty Must-Haves: I’m a minimalist when it comes to beauty products. I use Skin Trip, the most basic all-over body skin moisturizer made with coconut. My favorite powder blush is Chanel 71 Malice.

Local Gem: Honestly, my own home. It’s on the water [in Stuart], with a beach and a dock. I love to read down by the beach under the shade of the palm trees or simply watch the boats go by.
