Acclaimed author Ashley Winstead will make a stop on the book tour for her latest novel, The Boyfriend Candidate, at Barnes & Noble in Treasure Coast Commons (3001 N.W. Federal Highway) in Jensen Beach May 18.
Kicking off at 6 p.m., Winstead will celebrate the debut of her fourth novel—and second contemporary romance—with a reading, conversation, and book signing. The event is free and open to the public.
In this fierce and funny romantic comedy, Winstead explores living life outside of your comfort zone through protagonists Alexis Stone and Logan Arthur. Readers are taken on a journey from a chance encounter to an ensuing scandal, and an unlikely agreement.
Winstead is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and holds a Ph.D in contemporary American literature from Southern Methodist University. The Houston, Texas, resident has also penned The Last Housewife, Fool Me Once, In My Dreams I Hold a Knife, and the forthcoming Midnight is the Darkest Hour.
