Eat your way through a smorgasbord of delicious bacon and barbecue fare this month at the Port St. Lucie Bacon & BBQ Festival. The event is a bonanza for barbecue lovers with ribs, chicken, and pulled pork smoked and seasoned in an endless array of barbecue styles served up by vendors from all over Florida. Bacon-lovers will enjoy mouth-watering creations including bacon ice cream, chocolate covered bacon, and bacon and bourbon brownies or just opt for a classic crispy strip of sizzling goodness. Kids can enjoy a bounce house and interactive games.
When you need a break from barbecue, step over to the Port St. Lucie Craft Fair which will be in full swing during the festival. Knock out your holiday gift-buying early and shop one-of-a-kind craft items at the fall themed event. Vendors from all over the state will be on-site with unique crafts and artisan items.
Bring your canned goods and other non-perishable food donations for the Treasure Coast Food Bank. The festival is at the MidFlorida Event Center in air-conditioned comfort. Admission is free.
