The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast’s fourth annual Kitty Catalina Wine Mixer will draw both wine enthusiasts and cat lovers to the Palm City shelter (4100 SW Leighton Farm Ave.) on September 10, beginning at 6 p.m. The annual event benefits the nonprofit organization’s adoptable animals.

The Kitty Catalina Wine Mixer gives supporters an opportunity to mix and mingle with friends and felines while enjoying samples of Florida wines. Guests will also savor light bites while joining in on cat basket raffles, live music, and of course, and cuddling cats. Cat adoption fees will be waived during the event. Tickets are $25 and all attendees must be at least 21 years old.

“We have an abundance of available kittens and cats to adopt,” said Courtney Zanetti, the humane society’s community outreach director. “This event enables us to showcase them while having a fun Friday evening mixing and mingling with others.”
