The YWCA, dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women, is celebrating its 102nd year serving women and their families in Palm Beach County. It operates the Mary Rubloff YWCA Harmony House, a shelter for abused women and children; a 24-hour domestic violence hotline; Rapid Re-Housing for domestic violence victims; a Child Development Center serving low-income families; Y-Girls and Y-Teens, after-school activities for girls ages 8 to 18 in the Glades; Y-SAV, an anti-violence education program; and several racial justice initiatives.
