Some of Stuart’s beloved local landmarks have skeletons in their closets—and maybe a few ghosts lurking around too. Curious to find out if there’s any truth to that claim? Take a spine-tingling tour through the city and find out!

In October, U.S. Ghost Adventures launched Stuart Ghosts, a one-hour journey through the city that covers about one mile and hits all the spookiest spots. The walking tour covers seven historic spots (10 on the extended tour), including The Lyric Theatre, Stuart Boathouse, Old Colorado Inn, and Confusion Corner, telling tales of vengeful pirates, malevolent creatures, ghost gangs, and more.

Expert guides (think of them as local ghost whisperers) spill the tea on the city’s darker history, uncovering local legends and mysterious sightings reported over generations. You’ll hear stories that will make your hair stand on end and maybe even catch a glimpse of something…otherworldly. Guests have the option to add on ghost-hunting equipment that detects dastardly disturbances.

The tours run nightly starting at 8 p.m. and leave from The Owl House on S. Colorado Ave. Tickets cost $26 for adults and $17 for kids 12 and under (kids under 6 are free). Extended tours are available for $7 more. To book a tour, visit usghostadventures.com/stuart-ghost-tour.
