Enjoy a one-of-a-kind evening adventure as the KC Trails come alive with the sights and sounds of dusk on September 7. Guided by the Lifestyle Team, explore the winding paths and keep an eye out for local wildlife in their natural habitat. After the walk, gather around cozy camp-style snacks and great conversation back at the trailhead.
Mini Farm Day
On September 12, head to Newfield Farm for a day of pony rides and a petting zoo. Plus, enjoy free ice cream at the Harvest House. Pre-purchased pony ride wristbands can be purchased online or in person for $5.

National Play-Doh Day
Celebrate creativity this National Play-Doh Day (September 16) with a chef-themed party. Kids ages 3 to 8 will transform Play-Doh into tasty creations and collaborate with their peers in this tactile experience that develops imagination and motor skills.

Get ready for a hands-on adventure at Newfield Farm on September 18. Enjoy a farm experience for kids, packed with learning, laughter, and lots of veggies.
Stained Glass Workshop
This beginner-friendly stained glass workshop invites participants to create a Newfield Daisy September 19. This class covers the basics of stained glass, including cutting glass, applying copper foil, soldering, and finishing. All tools and materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary. The workshop is open to participants ages 18 and older. Tickets are $80 for residents and $95 for non-residents.
The Market at Newfield Farm
Shop local every third Saturday of the month at The Market at Newfield Farm on September 20. Featuring local vendors, fresh food, live music, fun for the kids, and food trucks.
World Clean Up Day
Celebrate World Cleanup Day (September 20) by pitching in to clean up KC trails, with cleanup bags available at the trailhead and at The Market at Newfield Farm.
National Public Lands Day
Head out for a morning of outdoor adventure and nature-focused fun for all ages in honor of National Public Lands Day September 27. Start at the KC Trails Welcome Station for light refreshments. Then, set out to explore the trails and celebrate the importance of public lands in the community.
Lunch & Learn for National Family Health & Fitness Day
This interactive and informative lunch invites families to explore fun, evidence-based health strategies on September 27. Guest speaker Brittany Cano, BSN, will walk guests through engaging fitness routines, nutrition tips, and stress management techniques. Tickets are $20 per adult.
