The twelfth annual Pup Crawl: Hard Hats & Happy Tails returns to downtown Stuart on November 7, inviting guests to dress in construction-themed attire and visit five dog-friendly restaurants while raising money for the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. Check-in and registration will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on the Promenade next to Stuart Boathouse.
Pup Crawl gives VIP access to Duffy’s Sports Grill, Hudson’s on the River, Taco Shack, Stack: Burgers & Bourbon, and Stuart Boathouse. Participants must be at least 21 years old and will receive one complimentary drink at each stop.
This year’s theme is inspired by the construction taking place at the humane society’s Palm City shelter, which is currently under renovation. Participants who dress in hard hat-themed attire will be eligible for a costume contest, with winners selected in three categories: Best Dressed Person, Best Dressed Pup, and Best Dressed Person & Pup Duo. Guests will also enjoy a 50/50 raffle and prizes.
All dogs must be kept on non-retractable leashes and be cared for at all times. Pet owners should watch for signs of heat exhaustion, aggressive behavior, overstimulation, or other concerns. Pets will not be permitted indoors, so participants bringing dogs are encouraged to use a buddy system.
Tickets are $35 per person in advance and $40 per person at the door. All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. Tickets are available at hstc1.org/Post/Pup-Crawl.
