The Barn Theatre will host fundraising shows to honor Country Music Hall of Famer Patsy Cline December 10-12. In “Always… Patsy Cline,” soprano Heather Simsay will showcase her own extensive musical theater background, vocal range, and dynamic singing style as an ode to Cline. Tickets are $30 for shows at 8 p.m. December 10, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. December 11, and 2 p.m. December 12.
“Always Patsy Cline” portrays the star’s career and close friendship with Louise Seger, played by veteran actor Sandi Hellstrom-Leonard. The pair were pen pals until Cline’s death in 1963. Cline’s music and her joyful friendship with Seger live on in this musical tribute, featuring 27 smash hits including And in the process, you’ll get enjoy 27 smash hits, including “Crazy, I Fall to Pieces” and “Walkin’ After Midnight.”
