Mark your calendars! Museum Pointe Park in Fort Pierce will set the scene for a new fall music series beginning in September.
The Levitt AMP Fort Pierce Music Series, presented by the Levitt Foundation, St. Lucie Cultural Alliance, St. Lucie County, and the City of Fort Pierce, is a free, family-friendly series featuring an eclectic lineup of artists. Kicking off September 3, the series will take over Museum Pointe Park for 10 consecutive Sundays through November 5. Each concert features a headliner and an opening act, as well as food trucks, vendors, and a kids’ zone.
The series begins September 3 with a performance by saxophonist Gary Palmer. The artists taking the stage each consecutive Sunday are: Afro-Cuban jazz musician Tito Puente Jr. (September 10); blues songstress Dottie Kelly (September 17); cajón zydeco artist Beth McKee (September 24); Mustafa on Sax Band (October 1); country singer-songwriter Jessie Lynn (October 8); Grammy Award-winning salsa artist Marlow Rosado (October 15); folk and blues duo The Nouveaux Honkies (October 22); Grammy Award-nominated jazz percussionist Sammy Figueroa and his Latin Jazz Ensemble (October 29); and disco folk sensation Cassie Taylor (November 5).
