The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast will host the twelfth annual Pooch Plunge, presented by the Bark Park, at Sailfish Splash Waterpark in Stuart on December 6. The waterpark will close for the winter once the event ends.
This year, the humane society will host three sessions based on dogs’ sizes: small dogs (under 30 pounds) from 10 to 11 a.m.; open swim for all dogs from 11 a.m. to noon; and large dogs (over 30 pounds) from noon to 1 p.m.
Guests and their pups will also enjoy photos with Santa, Kelly’s Kones, music, a 50/50 raffle, and signature event towels for sale.
The humane society is also partnering with House of Hope. Pooch Plunge guests are encouraged to bring dog or cat supplies to benefit the four-legged friends at the House of Hope. They will be collecting essentials such as pet toys, dog leashes, cat litter, and pet bedding.
Admission is $15 for one dog, $25 for two dogs, or $40 for three dogs. Tickets are on sale now and online pre-registration is highly recommended here. All proceeds benefit the animals at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast.
