Supporters of the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast don’t have to wait until Giving Tuesday (December 2) to make an impact, as the humane society’s $30,000 Giving Tuesday Match is already underway.
Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement intended to unleash the power of people and organizations to transform their communities. The humane society will ask all animal lovers and local philanthropists to help raise funds to support The Pawsitive Manners Club, the surrender prevention program that operates through low-cost pet obedience and behavior training classes for people and their pets.
The Pawsitive Manners Club provides necessary resources and support through obedience classes to help dogs become the best versions of themselves. Funds raised during the Giving Tuesday campaign will make access to these valuable resources available at low cost –or even no cost–to those in need.
Dog owners can find out if they qualify for discounted classes by visiting hstc1.org/PawsitiveManners.
Donations can be made by calling 772-600-3216; visiting hstc1.org/Giving-Tuesday; or mailing in the donation to Humane Society of the Treasure Coast (4100 SW Leighton Farm Ave., Palm City, FL 34990). If mailing, please include “Giving Tuesday” on the check’s memo line.
