The Lyric Theatre in Stuart will set the scene for the unmistakable groove and harmonies of Steely Dan as The Expanding Man takes the stage November 6, at 7 p.m.

The band brings a powerhouse tribute, complete with their own expert improvisations and reimagined takes on the iconic sounds of Steely Dan. The band is comprised of frontman Steve Memmolo, who fans will recognize as a finalist from NBC’s The Voice; guitarist Jon Zeeman, who has played alongside Susan Tedeschi, Butch Trucks, and members of The Allman Brothers; and pianist and award-winning composer Peter Primamore.

While audiences can expect faithful authenticity, The Expanding Man also weaves in original compositions inspired by Steely Dan’s complex harmonies and storytelling during the set, plus extended jams.

Tickets are $35-$59 and are available at lyrictheatre.com/show/11661-the-expanding-man.
