Two Summer Events to Attend at MartinArts

A Milestone “Marvin S. Cone Annual High School Juried Art Show”

MartinArts will celebrate almost four decades of creativity and talent by unveiling the annual “Marvin S. Cone Annual High School Juried Art Show Alumni Exhibit,” on view at the Court House Cultural Center beginning June 26.

Since its founding in 1987, the “Marvin S. Cone Annual High School Juried Art Show” has platformed thousands of young artists, sharing their creativity and helping them take their first steps into the arts. This milestone exhibition honors the alumni, artwork, educators, and traditions that have shaped its success over the past four decades.

The exhibition highlights the impact of arts education and the important role the show has played in nurturing talent throughout the community. Guests will tour works by former participants whose artistic journeys have taken them in many different directions.

Join MartinArts for an opening reception June 26, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Admission is a $5 suggested donation.

Sunset Concerts at the Gallery: Celebrating America’s 250^th

Enjoy Sunset Concerts at the Gallery at the Court House Cultural Center on the second Tuesday of each month, kicking off at 5:30 p.m. With the exhibition serving as backdrop, each concert offers an intimate performance experience that celebrates the unique artistry and musical expression of each performer. Admission is $5 and registration is available by visiting martinarts.org/programs-events.
