Florida landscapes are known for their vivid color—but award-winning fine art photographer Clyde Butcher has made a name for himself capturing breathtaking images of the Sunshine State in shades of gray. This month, the artist showcases some of his work at the MidFlorida Credit Union Event Center in Port St. Lucie. The traveling exhibition—Living Waters and the Florida Landscape—will be at the center through December 23 before moving to the St. Lucie Cultural Alliance Gallery in Fort Pierce (January 7 to 31). The exhibition includes 29 of the self-taught artist’s large-format photographs, which aim to drive awareness to the delicate beauty of our state’s natural resources and the threats that besiege them.
